Mammotion: won't charge or won't dock
10 pages. Start with the one that sounds most like yours. Each one opens on what to try first.
Safety first
Some of these are about the mower’s safety features. Before you try anything, read the safety rules from your mower’s manual.
Check these first
- Do this first: common mechanical causes before you blame firmware
A checklist of physical, mechanical, and setup issues that produce symptoms commonly mistaken for firmware bugs. Cheaper and faster to rule out than a rollback, and sometimes the actual fix.
- Tips & fixes that work across models
Find what your mower is doing, then the fixes owners found for it, newest first. Each fix is dated and works on more than one model.

LUBA 2/2X charging and docking failures: a dealer's diagnostic walkthrough
Try first: Clean the mower's contacts and both charging-station pins. Use a green scouring pad (not steel wool) plus contact cleaner or WD-40. Then check the ground under the station is flat and the outlet is not on a timer.

Charging & docking fixes that work across models
Try first: Move the charging station into shade and ventilation (or charge in a cooler part of the day). Do this before assuming a defective charger, brick or dock.

Known issue
Error 1200 (Recharge failed): reported across multiple models, at least three distinct causes
Try first: Confirm the docking station is receiving power and its LED is green, before anything else.

Known issue
LUBA 2: charging station's green status LED goes dark, mower stops docking on its own
Try first: Confirm both halves of the pattern. The station's green status LED is dark, and the mower still charges normally when you place it on the dock by hand.

Known issue
LUBA charging power adapter: it has no waterproof rating, and they can fail outdoors
Try first: Check the adapter's and the station's lights. Make sure the cable between them is firmly connected (unplug and reconnect it), and look at the contacts for dirt or corrosion. If you have a multimeter, measure the adapter's output and the voltage at the station's contacts.

Mammotion's free power-supply exchange on its Swiss-region help centre: what the FAQ says, and what it leaves out
Try first: If the Mammotion app showed you a message about replacing your power supply, follow it. Register your delivery address there. The FAQ says the replacement is sent to you after you register, and the mower does not go back.

Known issue
Charging stops part-way, around 40 to 75%: LUBA 2, YUKA and YUKA mini 2
Try first: On a LUBA, open the app's battery page (tap the battery icon, or Settings, then Battery). Check no charging upper limit is set below where your charge stops. LUBA owners report this setting; it may not exist on a YUKA. Then clean the contacts on the mower and the dock and make sure the mower sits square on the dock.

LUBA 1 battery wearing out: what owners paid, where they got a new one, and what Mammotion says about doing it yourself
Try first: Measure what the charger and power supply deliver before you buy a battery. If a neighbour has a LUBA, try your mower on their charger. One owner did both, found the supply fine and the mower still would not charge on a known-good charger, and then replaced the battery. Another owner's symptom was a mower that stopped about halfway round the lawn with the app showing 50% or more, then read 0% when carried back to the dock and lasted about 30 minutes after charging.

Known issue
LUBA charging stations: stuck or corroded contact pins block charging
Try first: Open the charging station and check whether the spring-loaded contact pins move freely. Also check whether the pin faces and the plates on the mower look clean under a bright light. A pin that is not springing back out can be freed by hand or with pliers. Mammotion's own advice for a pin that is only sticking is a small amount of WD-40; if the spring inside is damaged, lubricant is unlikely to help.

YUKA mini 800 will not charge after an update: three owners, one workaround
Try first: Confirm the mower reaches the dock but does not charge. A mower that never docks is a different fault. See error 1200 and the stuck-contact-pins page instead.
