Mammotion: shows an error or alarm
13 pages. Start with the one that sounds most like yours. Each one opens on what to try first.
Safety first
Some of these are about the mower’s safety features. Before you try anything, read the safety rules from your mower’s manual.
Check these first
- Do this first: common mechanical causes before you blame firmware
A checklist of physical, mechanical, and setup issues that produce symptoms commonly mistaken for firmware bugs. Cheaper and faster to rule out than a rollback, and sometimes the actual fix.
- Tips & fixes that work across models
Find what your mower is doing, then the fixes owners found for it, newest first. Each fix is dated and works on more than one model.

Guide
Mammotion fault & error code reference
Try first: Find your code in the tables on this page. They give the manufacturer's own recommended fix for it.

Known issue
YUKA mini: false 'front wheel lifted' and tilt warnings, usually a sticking front wheel
Try first: Turn the mower off, lift the front and push each front wheel up and down by hand. Then compare the left with the right. A wheel that sticks or feels stiff as it slides is the usual cause, even if it spins freely.
-
Known issue
Error 1028 ("drivetrain motor error detected"): owners link it to a stuck wheel; Mammotion calls it occasional
Try first: Free the wheel that got stuck (in the grass-catcher basket, dense grass, a small hole), then restart. Mammotion's own reply calls 1028 an occasional problem and says safety is generally not affected, but names no cause; the stuck-wheel link is the owners', and error 363 logged at the same moment in one owner's log supports a stuck-wheel overcurrent origin.

Known issue
Error 1200 (Recharge failed): reported across multiple models, at least three distinct causes
Try first: Confirm the docking station is receiving power and its LED is green, before anything else.
-
Known issue
LUBA 2: error 1300/1303 ("poor positioning status"), with at least two different causes
Try first: Check whether the mower or its dock sits under anything solid overhead. That means a real terrace roof, not a garden umbrella. Try a more RF-transparent shelter or open sky.
-
Known issue
LUBA 3 AWD: "Front bumper is experiencing repeated triggering" (error 1207)
Try first: Power the mower off, take the front bumper off and clear the debris from inside it and its seams. Owners found mostly fine, packed grass clippings, and low-pressure compressed air or a soft brush got them out. Check the connectors for dirt or moisture while it is off.
-
Known issue
LUBA 3 AWD: "Wheel hub motor error"
Try first: Restart the mower three times in a row and see whether the wheel hub motor error clears. If it does, keep an eye on it: Mammotion calls a one-off case a possible temporary abnormality.
-
Known issue
Error 1425 (vision module fault): reported across YUKA, YUKA mini, YUKA mini 2, LUBA mini AWD, LUBA 2 (base & AWD X) & LUBA 3
Try first: Confirm the camera lens is genuinely clean and that firmware and app are current.
-
Known issue
Error 1201 'Robot is trapped' on open ground after updates: LUBA 2 and LUBA mini AWD LiDAR
Try first: Press STOP on the mower before you touch it. Then look at where it stopped: a hard shadow across the lawn, a dip or a soft patch under a wheel, tall grass or a low branch in front of the sensors.
-
Known issue
YUKA / LUBA 2 AWD X: mower stops at night claiming the vision module is dirty when it isn't
Try first: Check the lens physically before treating this as the false positive: Mammotion's own troubleshooting will ask the same thing.
-
Known issue
LUBA mini 2 AWD 1500/1500H (LiDAR): LiDAR fails to initialize on firmware 2.3.27.16
Try first: Check for a firmware update and install it. Make sure the companion app is current too, because some updates only trigger from the latest app rather than from the version-history screen.
-
Fixed issue
YUKA mini: false Error 1425 startup error, fixed in firmware 1.14.2.2304
Try first: Update to 1.14.7.2301 or later: the false start-up error was fixed in 1.14.2.2304 and the same fix text shipped again four weeks later, so the later build is the safer bar.
-
Known issue
LUBA 2: cutting-motor overload (323), where cleaning fixes it for some and others need a warranty repair
Try first: Clear the cutting deck and blades, and check what the mower just cut. Mole hills, tall wet grass and debris are the reported causes behind a temporary overload.
