YUKA / LUBA 2 AWD X: mower stops at night claiming the vision module is dirty when it isn't

1.30.29.8 (31 July 2026), as the only published update before this report's date (20 August 2026) — a plausible candidate for the "last update" Mammotion support referenced, but neither source thread names it directly.
What happened
Video shows a YUKA 2025 repeatedly stopping mid-task at night, reporting its 3D vision module is dirty — while the actual camera/vision hardware was confirmed clean, and the same mower mows fine during the day1. "It keeps complaining about the 3D vision model being dirty, but it's just dark out."
A different model, a LUBA 2 AWD X, showed the identical symptom — the same "dirty vision" false-positive — with Mammotion support saying it would be fixed in the last update, then that it'll be fixed in the next update instead. A separate, open Mammotion support case references the same issue.
Why this is logged as one pattern, not two separate bugs
Two different mower families, same specific false-positive (vision-dirty warning triggered by darkness rather than an actual dirty lens), reported around the same time, with at least one commenter told by Mammotion support it's a known, recurring item across updates. That's enough to document as a cross-model pattern worth watching, even without a firmware version to pin it to.
What to do if you're hitting this
- Confirm the lens is actually clean before assuming it's a false positive — worth ruling out physically, since Mammotion's own troubleshooting will likely ask the same thing.
- If you have a support case open already, referencing existing threads (linked above) may help show this isn't an isolated unit issue.
- If night mowing isn't essential, some owners report switching to daytime-only scheduling as a workaround until this is addressed.
