What to do next
-
Before you contact support, have your case ID (if you already have one), the device name from the app, a log uploaded through the app, and photos or a short video of the fault.
Applies when: the mower has a fault that restarts and the guides on this site have not fixed.
Worked if: support can start on the case instead of asking for the same details again.
Didn't work? Next: step 2 — Keep every email, and save any repair estimate, promised...
Method: what Mammotion's company-named accounts ask owners for in these threads (manufacturer statement)
-
Keep every email, and save any repair estimate, promised timeline or replacement offer as it is made.
Applies when: the mower is going in for repair, or support has offered a replacement or a discount.
Worked if: if an offer changes later, you can point to what was said, as owners below did.
Didn't work? Next: step 3 — If a case stalls, a post on the Mammotion subreddits often draws...
Method: an owner whose offer changed during a case and who could point to the earlier email
-
If a case stalls, a post on the Mammotion subreddits often draws a reply from a company-named Mammotion account asking for your case ID or device name. Send it privately, never in the post.
Applies when: support has stopped replying, or the case has gone on for weeks.
Worked if: someone at Mammotion looks at the case again.
Didn't work? Next: step 4 — Tell us how your case went - how long it took, what was offered,...
Stop and get help if: never post your case ID, device name, order number or address publicly - send them by private message only.
Method: company-named Mammotion accounts replying in these threads
-
Tell us how your case went - how long it took, what was offered, and how it ended, good or bad.
Applies when: a repair or replacement case has ended, or is stuck.
Worked if: the picture on this page stops depending on who chose to post.
Method: this page's own closing request
Did this work, or not? Tell us what happened — a report from someone who hit it is what turns one dealer's method into a documented fix.
What to read this page as
These are accounts owners chose to post, mostly when something went wrong. They show what can happen and what helped. They are not a measure of how often it happens, and this site has no figures for that.
What Mammotion asks for
When owners post about a stalled case, company-named Mammotion accounts reply publicly and ask for the same few things: the case ID or the device name, sent by private message91. Having these ready — plus a log uploaded from the app and photos of the fault — saves a round of emails.
For some faults the whole mower has to go in. A Mammotion account told one owner that "The battery currently can’t be shipped separately"6, so a battery problem meant sending the mower.
What owners report
Long turnarounds. A LUBA 3 AWD 3000 owner in Austria sent the mower in the day after a fault in July. They heard nothing for over a month, were told in late August it was repaired, and received it back damaged. They then agreed with Mammotion to send it back again2. The owner also notes it was repaired in Portugal after being sent to an address in Germany.
A replacement promise that turned into a discount. A LUBA 2 owner's mower went in under a free warranty repair and was found, 26 days later, to be beyond repair. The owner says Mammotion had earlier told them a long delay would mean a replacement of equal or better performance. Instead, "they told me they had no replacement units available and offered me 20% off a new LUBA 3." After the owner pushed back, the offer rose to 30%. Other owners in the thread describe accepting a different model or being offered a refurbished unit1.
Out of warranty, the price can grow. A LUBA 2 owner just past two years was quoted about €288 for a battery. After diagnosis at the repair centre the quote was €815, for the battery plus the main board, drive board and both cutting motors. The owner declined and left the mower with Mammotion3.
Shipping goes wrong. One owner's mower was delivered by the courier to a stranger on the other side of the UK. Because Mammotion held the courier account, the courier would only speak to Mammotion4.
Second-hand purchases. An owner who bought an unopened LUBA 3 AWD second-hand had a warranty claim declined when it failed within two weeks, and was refunded the extended warranty they had bought9. This site has not captured Mammotion's warranty terms, so it cannot say what they require. If you are buying second-hand, ask Mammotion before you buy.
Some cases go quickly. One owner had their front wheels replaced after sending logs and error codes, and called the handling professional. Another owner in the same thread says their case was solved in three working days7.
Some long cases end well. A LUBA 2 AWD 5000 went back three times, once returned with screws missing. Mammotion then offered a new LUBA 2 AWD 5000X, and when that was out of stock the owner took a LUBA 3 AWD 3000 for the price difference. They wrote that "the process was far from perfect" but that they were very happy with the result8. A refund owed for a returned mower was paid after the owner's family posted publicly about it5.
What helped, in owners' own accounts
- Offers in writing. The owner whose replacement became a discount could push back because Mammotion's earlier promise was in its first emails, and the offer improved1.
- A public post. In several of these threads, a company-named Mammotion account replied within a day or two and asked for the case19.
- Coming back with the ending. Two owners who posted a good outcome said they did it to balance the bad stories, because once a problem is solved nobody usually comes back to say so78.
