Mammotion: noise, blades or cutting
7 pages. Start with the one that sounds most like yours. Each one opens on what to try first.
Safety first
Some of these are about the mower’s safety features. Before you try anything, read the safety rules from your mower’s manual.
Check these first
- Do this first: common mechanical causes before you blame firmware
A checklist of physical, mechanical, and setup issues that produce symptoms commonly mistaken for firmware bugs. Cheaper and faster to rule out than a rollback, and sometimes the actual fix.
- Tips & fixes that work across models
Find what your mower is doing, then the fixes owners found for it, newest first. Each fix is dated and works on more than one model.

Known issue
LUBA 2 / LUBA 2X / YUKA / mini series: firmware 1.30.29.24 → 1.30.29.26, the same perimeter issue fixed twice, two weeks apart
Try first: Note your version, and update to 1.30.29.26 if you are on 1.30.29.24. The perimeter/boundary-crossing fix is the one item both official posts describe in essentially the same language, two weeks apart.

Mowing in wet grass: clippings caking under the deck, and what owners do about it
Try first: If you can, wait until the grass and the ground are dry, and start after the morning dew has gone. If the ground is muddy or the mower leaves wheel tracks, pause and mark that part as a No-Go Zone until it recovers.

Blade & deck maintenance: what owners do, and what Mammotion warns against
Try first: Lower the cutting disc, then CAREFULLY wipe the underside. Those blades are SHARP! On a LUBA, set the cutting height lower in the app; on a YUKA, YUKA mini or YUKA mini 2, press down and turn the cutting-height knob on top. Do not demount the blade guard to reach it.

LUBA 2/2X cutting height system failure: the dealer's actual root cause
Try first: Power off, flip the mower over and look at how the blades sit against the guard. Uneven blades mean material is trapped underneath. Remove the three 2.5mm Allen screws per disc and lift the guard's top cover to clear the grass out.

LUBA 2/2X cutting deck making a loud, diesel-engine-like or grinding noise
Try first: Pull the discs and the blade guard and clear the compacted grass off the top of the discs. It is the same buildup that causes the cutting-height failure, here thick enough that the blades flex into each other.

Known issue
LUBA 2: cutting-motor overload (323), where cleaning fixes it for some and others need a warranty repair
Try first: Clear the cutting deck and blades, and check what the mower just cut. Mole hills, tall wet grass and debris are the reported causes behind a temporary overload.

Known issue
YUKA mini: firmware 1.14.2.2304, loud/screeching noise at medium blade speed
Try first: Note your current version first. Then check whether the noise is a screech at medium blade speed rather than at low or high speed.
