Changelog quote, not a direct read of Mammotion's own release-notes page. The fix description below comes from a forum member's paste of Mammotion's firmware changelog3, not from this site reading Mammotion's official release notes directly — flagged here per our sourcing standard. The two owner reports themselves are read directly and in full.

What happened

Two LUBA 2 AWD X 3000X owners, about 24 hours apart in May 2025, independently reported the same specific symptom: the mower refuses to cross a "channel" — a mapped path connecting two mowing zones — even though the same terrain is no obstacle at all during an ordinary mow.

One owner's mower stopped about 2 meters short of the channel every time a task finished in the second zone, reporting that returning to charge in the current zone had failed; it took several manual "send to dock" attempts before it would continue on its own1. Reversing the channel's direction didn't help.

The other owner's mower reported the channel path was "blocked" near a trimmed bush and refused a small incline in the channel — while driving over that same incline without issue while actively mowing2.

Both owners found the same partial workaround suggested in the same thread: setting obstacle avoidance to "Off." Both rejected it as not a real fix, since it also disables obstacle detection during the mow itself, letting the mower run over anything left on the lawn2.

The fix, per Mammotion's own changelog

About six weeks after these reports, Mammotion's changelog for firmware 1.13.4.4405 (up from 1.11.511.631) lists, among other changes, "improved sensitivity mode for avoiding obstacles in channels" as a named fix area3 — a direct match for the exact symptom both owners described.

What this isn't

Not the same as the more general "gets stuck against obstacles / fails to return to dock" pattern documented separately for LUBA 2 AWD X on recent firmware (see that page) — this issue is specific to the mapped channel path between zones, not general obstacle handling during a mow.

If you're still seeing this on firmware 1.13.4.4405 or later, or on a different LUBA 2 AWD X size (3000HX/5000X/5000HX/10000X/10000HX), let us know — that would mean the fix is incomplete or size-specific.
