On this page
Husqvarna names its messages; it does not number them. Each shows what the app shows: a name such as "Trapped" or "No loop signal", then the cause and the action. It may show the name in your own language; we give the manual's English.
520 and 550 EPOS: the messages
From the 520 and 550 EPOS manual, pages 30 to 361. This manual has one messages table, and it adds messages about the map, the satellites and the reference station. Many of the messages on the 420, 430X, 440 and 450X page appear in it too. Where a row differs, the differences are listed after the table; where your own manual differs from both, trust your manual.
| Message | Cause, per the manual | What Husqvarna says to do |
|---|---|---|
| No charging station signal (the 2023 wire manual calls it No loop signal) | The station's power supply or cable is not connected or is damaged; ECO mode is on and the product was moved off the station without pressing STOP; the product does not find the station's loop signal; the station is not installed correctly; metal objects or buried cables near the station | Check the station LED, the outlet and the residual-current device; replace a damaged supply or cable; put the product in the station and start it, or make a new loop signal; install the station as instructed; move the station |
| Outside work area | The work area slopes too much by the virtual boundary; a transport path or the path to the maintenance point slopes too much; another installation's loop signal nearby; metal objects near the station | Install the virtual boundary or the transport path correctly; make a new loop signal; move the station |
| Map problem | There is no work area; or the map object file is incorrect | Make a work area in the Husqvarna Fleet Services app; check the map in the app, adjust and save it, or delete it and install again |
| Work area tampered | A temporary electronic or firmware problem; the charging station was moved; the reference station was moved | Restart; move the station back, or reinstall it in the app. If the reference station is moved to a new place, a factory reset and a fresh installation with all maps is needed |
| Searching for satellites | The satellite signal to the reference station or to the product is weak | The manual says it is temporary and the product starts when the signals are good; examine the reference station's installation, and what is between the product and the sky |
| No accurate position from satellites | A weak satellite signal to the reference station or to the product | Examine the reference station's installation; remove what blocks the sky or make a new installation without those parts of the work area |
| No correction data available | Technical problems with EPOS through the Husqvarna Cloud; or the product has no cellular connection | Restart, and if it stays the message needs an authorised service technician; make sure there is cellular coverage in every part of the work area |
| Reference station communication problem | The product is not paired to the reference station; it is not installed correctly; the product does not receive its radio signal in all areas; a power failure; an error with the LED flashing red; interference from another reference station or radio systems | Pair them again; examine the installation; test the radio signal in all of the work area; correct the power failure; disconnect and reconnect the station's power; restart the product |
| Multiple reference stations | More than one reference station is near the work area | Speak to your dealer if it happens often |
| Too many waypoints | The work area has too many waypoints | Install the work area, stay-out zone and transport paths again with fewer waypoints, or divide it into more work areas |
| Destination blocked; Destination not reachable | An obstacle or a stay-out zone blocks the way; there is no transport path to the work area; the way back to the station or to the maintenance point is blocked | Remove the obstacle; edit or remove the stay-out zone, or install the work area again; make a transport path |
| No power in charging station | An incorrect or damaged power supply; a power failure; poor contact between the charging plates | Examine the supply; correct the power failure; check the plates connect |
| Invalid firmware configuration | The firmware in the product is not updated | Update the firmware to the latest version |
| Connectivity problem | A problem with the cellular connection | Restart; if it stays, speak to your Husqvarna representative |
The same manual also lists Cutting system blocked, Trapped, Empty battery, Slipped, Charging station blocked, Stuck in charging station, Upside down, Mower tilted, Lifted, Collision, the wheel motor messages, the Alarm! messages, the restart-and-dealer block, the battery and charging messages, the cutting-height and imbalance messages, and Wrong PIN code1. Differences from the wire manual that we saw:
- Cutting system blocked adds a third cause, high and thick grass. The action is to adjust the cutting height to the grass and lengthen the schedule.
- Empty battery lists a battery at the end of its life cycle, and a product with no accurate position that cannot find the station.
- Slipped prints the slope figure as 45%.
- Collision has two causes: the body not moving freely around its chassis, or the product unable to move forward or rearward.
- The Alarm! messages are "stopped", "outside GeoFence" and "was moved".
- The station lamp table has no blue row.
What the tables do not tell you
They say what Husqvarna tells owners to do. They say nothing about how often a message appears or whether the action works. The owner-report pages in the fault and error message reference are for that. A message name that is not on this page may still be in your manual.
Nothing here matches your symptom?
A fault that isn't listed here doesn't mean nothing is wrong with your mower. The manufacturer's own manual is linked from this page, and the guides for this brand are listed on its overview.

If your code isn't here
-
Find the message the app shows in the tables on this page and read the manual's cause and action for it. Many messages list more than one cause: read them all before you act.
More about this step
Applies when: the app or the mower shows a message.
Worked if: you have Husqvarna's own action for that message, not a forum guess at what it means.
Didn't work? Next: step 2 — Open the owner-report page for your message. Find it from the...
Method: the fault and information message tables in Husqvarna's 520 and 550 EPOS operator's manual, read row by row for this page
-
Open the owner-report page for your message. Find it from the table on the fault and error message reference, to see what other owners found and how many of them found it.
More about this step
Applies when: the manual's action did not fix it, or your message is in that table.
Worked if: you have what owners actually did about it, beside what the manual says.
Didn't work? Next: step 3 — Speak to your Husqvarna representative or approved servicing...
Method: the owner-report pages named in that table; what they hold is stated on each
-
Speak to your Husqvarna representative or approved servicing dealer. Do this if the same message keeps coming back, as the manual says.
Stop and get help if
the message is one the manual says needs an authorised service technician, such as No correction data available after a restart: leave it to them.
More about this step
Applies when: the message comes back after you have followed the manual's action.
Worked if: someone with the diagnostic tool reads the mower, or you know the dealer's terms.
Method: the manual's own wording on repeated messages
