What to do next

  1. Update the RTK reference station through Mammotion's own page and the LubaBaseStationUpgrade tool (1.0.6). Connect over USB-serial. Builds exist for Windows, macOS ARM and macOS Intel.

    More about this step

Applies when: the RTK station needs a firmware update. The mower body is different: its firmware is OTA-only, which is what the Android rollback guide is for.

Worked if: the reference station is updated through the sanctioned tool, with no community workaround involved.

Method: Mammotion's own download page (English and German)

RTK station — not the app or robot body. See our app vs. firmware vs. RTK guide if you're not sure which one you're dealing with.

Why this page exists: the mower body's firmware is OTA-only, with no official manual flashing path. That's what the Android rollback guide is for. The RTK reference station is different: Mammotion publishes an official, sanctioned tool for it.

What's confirmed

Mammotion has an official page with instructions for manually updating the RTK reference station's firmware using a tool called LubaBaseStationUpgrade (currently at version 1.0.6), connected via USB-serial1, 2. Builds are offered for Windows, macOS ARM, and macOS Intel. This is a real, sanctioned mechanism, not a community workaround, and it's a legitimate download source since it points to Mammotion's own page rather than a third-party mirror.

Download status: currently working

The full arc of this issue: on July 4, 2026, after a LUBA 1 AWD5000 update to mower firmware 1.10.6.268 and a lost RTK connection, the official download link was broken. A later reply in the same thread confirms the download now works: the Windows build (LubaBaseStationUpgrade.exe) downloaded and ran successfully3.

Confirmed working as of that thread reply, not re-tested on every visit to this page. If you hit a broken link again, that's worth reporting via the thread above or directly, since it's evidently intermittent.
